What is the AAO 2002 E-Guide?
The AAO 2002 E-Guide is a full featured meeting planner. The guide provides detailed information for hotels and shuttle buses, as well as the majority of the meeting directory text. In a few clicks you can locate any exhibitor alphabetically, by category, or by searching on booth numbers. Plan your agenda with the Educational Session information by directly populating your date book.
Which handheld devices are supported?
The AAO 2002 E-Guide is designed for all Palm OS compatible handheld devices. This may include Palm, Handspring, IBM, and Sony products.
Will this application work for Windows CE units?
The AAO 2002 E-Guide application is currently only available for Palm OS compatible units.
How do I download and install the application?
To download the application:
- Enter through the Download center, select Download above.
- On that page enter a valid email address, then complete the short survey.
- Select the AAO 2002 E-Guide application (.PRC) file and download.
- After saving the file to your computer, open the directory and double click on the AAO2002.prc file. This will add it to the computer's hot sync menu.
- Place your Palm in the cradle and press the hot sync button.
- After completing the Hot Sync, remove your Palm from the cradle and tap the HOME icon. The icon, shown below, will appear at or near the top of your device image. Tap the image to access the E-Guide.
How big is the file size?
The size of the AAO 2002 E-Guide Compressed for download 169K. However, it acutally takes up 460K to allow for the function "Beam to a Friend" to work properly.
